Media Space is a collective of artists and academics committed to the research and development of electronic art.

Media Space aims to establish a research network, working in collaboration with Artrage, Studio for Electronic Arts, Curtin University of Technology, The University of Western Australia, SymbioitcA, Murdoch and Edith Cowan Universities.

Media-Space also facilitates workshops, lectures and presentations of current research from artists, Ph.D and Masters students. Media Space offers cross institutional research opportunities providing resources and critical advice to the research and development of electronic art projects.

Aims of Media Space

to define a cross institutional hybrid database focusing on collaborations between art and science.
to develop processes of critical interrogation which identify and define areas of research.
to nurture National and International collaborations.
to explore processes of collaboration in the area of high end technological research.
